CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) improves the lives of people affected by attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD).
CHADD is the nation’s leading non-profit organization serving individuals with ADHD and their families. Founded in 1987, CHADD has over 12,000 members in 200 local chapters around the country which offer support for parents, adults with ADHD, educators, professionals, and others. CHADD is a membership organization (various levels of membership available), produces the bi-monthly Attention magazine (for members), and sponsors an annual international conference. CHADD offers the seven-week Parent-to-Parent education program and operates the CDC-funded National Resource Center on AD/HD (NRC; www.help4adhd.org) as the national clearinghouse for evidence-based information about all aspects ADHD.
