Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a relatively common syndrome that affects a person’s pain receptors in areas such as muscles, soft tissues, and joints. This naturally leads to body wide pains and aches that have the potential to develop into long-term discomfort. Other symptoms include headaches, depression, fatigue and irregular sleep. Fibromyalgia’s cause is unknown. Fibromyalgia is a painful condition that can affect the person’s ability to sleep and carry out day-to-day tasks. This coupled with anxiety and stress can significantly harm a person and lead to more physical pain and even more acute symptoms of fatigue and sleep disturbance.
