Protoporphyria, erythropoietic, x-linked

X-linked erythropoietic protoporphyria (XLEPP) is a metabolic disorder of heme biosynthesis characterized by onset in early childhood of severe photosensitivity associated with decreased iron stores and increased erythrocyte zinc- and metal-free protoporphyrin.
